MATTAWAN, MI April 22, 2008: MPI Research has entered into negotiations with the city of Kalamazoo to take over two downtown buildings vacated by Pfizer as part of our overall multi-phased expansion initiative. Pfizer announced today that it is donating these structures to the city. The State of Michigan is providing an attractive incentive package for us to incorporate the downtown area in our growth plan. Expansion activities in Mattawan will continue as well.

We hope to finalize all aspects of this agreement by the end of 2008, and will then begin renovations to the downtown buildings to accommodate our growing discovery services. Growth initiatives at MPI Research are designed to improve and enhance services that we provide to our Sponsors. As we move forward, we will keep you posted on how this, and any other growth initiative, impacts your project(s).

Our Sponsor-driven company-wide growth will bring jobs to the local economy, both in Mattawan and now, in downtown Kalamazoo. We are personally delighted that as a company we can build on our Midwestern heritage to further strengthen our local economy.
