MPI Research announced today the restructuring of its analytical, ADME and pharmacokinetic services under one umbrella, MPI Analytical. In an effort to more closely align related services, senior management made the decision to place DMPK and analytical services into one integrated cohesive management structure. This change allows for greater operating efficiency of these services and is a key factor in MPI Research’s long-term strategy to grow these services into leadership positions within the industry.

Direction for the new group will come from James Rose, Ph.D. Dr. Rose spent nearly 15 years in ADME and bioanalytical leadership positions with both Quintiles and Hoechst Marion Roussel laboratories in Kansas City. Under his direction these groups flourished and grew into some of the most respected analytical and metabolism laboratories in the industry.

Dr. Rose will be assisted by Karsten Holm, Ph.D. who will lead the ADME efforts at MPI Analytical. Dr. Holm is a Biochemist with over 15 years of experience in both the pharmaceutical industry and contract research organizations. Dr. Holm brings with him a wealth of experience in metabolism and bioanalytical studies and methods. Ron Lindahl, B.S. will continue to guide the pharmacokinetic efforts at MPI Analytical. Mr. Lindahl has over 25 years of contract research experience and has led the PK group at MPI Research for the last five years creating a key business unit within MPI. Dean Haan, B.S. will take on the role of Associate Director of Analytical Services for MPI Analytical. Mr. Haan has over 15 years of experience in analytical contract research organizations. He will have the day-to-day operational responsibilities for the MPI Analytical technical staff.
