MPI Research Sets New Standards for Reporting Preclinical Studies!

MPI Research has always worked diligently to meet sponsor needs for fast starting, high quality, and preclinical research at competitive prices. MPI Research understands these are critical needs for our sponsors, but the effort does not stop there. The ability to start studies faster than our competitors would have little value if MPI Research did not meet timeline expectations. MPI Research staff members work to partner with sponsors, acting as an extension of their internal research teams to help speed their products to market. Our entire staff is devoted to meeting or beating all of our sponsors’ expectations, and we are extremely proud to announce our industry leading on-time reporting statistics for the last two years.

For the period of 2002-2003, MPI Research has mailed nearly 1,900 study reports with an overall on time percentage of 99%. Over that two-year period, 79% of the reports mailed were mailed earlier than the timelines originally promised to sponsors, inclusive of expedited reports. In 2003, 90% of all reports have been mailed to sponsors early, a further improvement on the stellar performance of 2002. This incredible early reporting achievement is even more remarkable considering MPI Research standard reporting schedules meet or exceed all toxicology industry standards.

Mary Ann Scott, Director of Regulatory Affairs, commented, “We are extremely proud of our record of on-time and early reporting. While the advent of completely electronic data capture has certainly helped us achieve this incredible record, I must place the real credit with the MPI Team. The dedication and commitment of the MPI Research team to meet and exceed report timelines is truly outstanding.”

MPI Research exists to provide comprehensive non-clinical research that meets the requirements of pharmaceutical, medical device, animal health and chemical companies as well as governmental agencies as we partner together to bring safer, healthier products to the world. MPI Research employees specialize in a wide variety of scientific disciplines including toxicology, pharmacology, metabolism, pathology, clinical pathology, reproductive and developmental biology, veterinary science, neuroscience, experimental therapeutics, immunotoxicology, analytical chemistry, computer science, regulatory science, and statistics.
