MPI RESEARCH hires another Staff Veterinarian!

MPI Research is pleased to announce that Scott L. Adrian, B.S., D.V.M., has joined MPI Research as a Staff Veterinarian in the Clinical Medicine and Surgical Services Department. Dr. Adrian is a 1998 graduate of Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. During veterinary school, he worked as a research assistant in dairy and swine veterinary laboratories, as well as taking elective clerkships in Surgery, Critical Care, Government and Corporate Practice, Food Animal, and Swine Medicine. Prior to earning his undergraduate degree, he worked as a veterinary assistant for 10 years in small and exotic animal practices. In the past five years, he has worked as an emergency clinician for specialty referral practices in Milford, MI and most recently Fremont, CA. Dr. Adrian has experience working with a wide variety of species, including dogs, cats, swine, cattle, birds, primates, reptiles, and marine mammals. His professional interests include primary animal care and the development of emerging surgical techniques and technologies.

Allan G. “Chris” Manus, D.V.M., M.Sc., A.C.L.A.M., MPI Attending Veterinarian, commented, “The addition of Dr. Adrian to our veterinary staff allows us to continue providing comprehensive monitoring and care for our animals as the company continues to grow. He will assist in allowing the department to continue to expand capabilities and capacities in the field of surgical research.”
