Staff Pathologist! |
MPI Research announced the addition of Laura
Zwick, D.V.M., D.A.C.V.P., as a Staff Pathologist.
Dr. Zwick came to MPI Research from Michigan
State University, where she was an instructor/resident
in Pathology. She participated in advanced
graduate studies, specializing in diagnostic
and toxicologic pathology. Over her career,
Laura has developed expertise in nonhuman
primate pathology. Dr. Zwick received her
D.V.M. from Michigan State University and
completed a residency in zoological pathology
at the University of Illinois. She is a Diplomate
of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists.
Theodore Slone, D.V.M., D.A.C.V.P., Director
of Pathology, commented, “With the
addition of Dr. Zwick to our staff, we have
added another pathologist with a strong background
in nonhuman primate pathology, an area that
continues to grow in preclinical evaluations.
Dr. Zwick also has a strong background in
other areas of toxicological pathology. She
is a welcome addition to the pathology staff
at MPI Research, bringing our number to five.”
