MPI Research continues to add to the Scientific Research Team!

MPI Research is to pleased announce the addition of Stephen W. Frantz, Ph.D., D.A.B.T., to the scientific research team. Dr. Frantz will function as a Senior Study Director. He comes from the Bristol-Myers Squibb Company were he served as the Manager of Toxicology. He received his Ph.D. in Toxicology from the University of Michigan in 1981. He has also served in managerial positions with companies such as Merck’s Calgon Vestal Subsidiary and Bushy Run Research Center, and was an Industrial Postdoctoral Fellow at the Dow Chemical Company. He has extensive laboratory research experience with 14C and 3H isotopes in both in vivo and in vitro animal studies, including expertise in skin penetration pharmacokinetics.

James Laveglia, Ph.D., Executive Vice President and Director of Research, commented, “We are excited to have Steve as part of our scientific research team. His knowledge in the conduct of regulatory toxicology studies for the pharmaceutical industry will greatly benefit our organization and his experience with in vitro animal studies will add to our focus on enhancing our capabilities and technologies.”
